The Strokes release their fifth studio album Comedown Machine via RCA Records. The first single from the album is “All The Time”. They have headlined major festivals in the United States and UK, including the Isle of Wight Festival, Lollapalooza, Hurricane Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Rockness, Outside Lands, and Austin City Limits as well as sold out New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

"Comedown Machine [is] more immediately appealing than their last two records; the Strokes sound like they’re genuinely trying here... Credit where it’s due: the guys sound like they’re having fun again." - Ian Cohen, Pitchfork
