FUNKADELIC Hardcore Jollies (Originally released in 1976, Hardcore Jollies marked Funkadelic's debut for Warner Bros. and stands as one of their most potent statements - a wild collision of heavy rock guitars, funk grooves, and interstellar psychedelia. Dedicated to "the guitar players of the world," the album channels the spirit of Hendrix through searing leads by Michael Hampton and Eddie Hazel, anchored by the deep funk of Bootsy Collins, the keyboard wizardry of Bernie Worrell, and George Clinton's fearless creative direction. Among the standout tracks are the infectious singles "Comin' Round the Mountain" and "Smokey", plus a stunning live reworking of 1973's "Cosmic Slop," recorded during rehearsals for the monumental P-Funk Earth Tour.  

The album also features a guest appearance by Buddy Miles, underscoring its hard-rocking edge. This exclusive limited edition Charly reissue is  presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with Pedro Bell's original artwork fully restored.
