Cheap Trick - In Color - 180 Gram/Purple/Numbered - LP (Music on Vinyl/Limited to 2000)

Music on Vinyl's audiophile 180-gram reissue of In Color, Cheap Trick's 1977 sophomore album, pressed on purple coloured vinyl as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies and housed in a gatefold jacket. Imported from the Netherlands.

Produced by Tom Werman, In Color sharpened the band's writing into the power-pop hooks that would define them. The album introduced "I Want You to Want Me," later a global hit in its At Budokan live form, alongside enduring radio cuts "Clock Strikes Ten," "Southern Girls," and the curtain-raising "Hello There." 

The record was particularly influential in Japan, where its reception laid the groundwork for the band's legendary 1978 Nippon Budokan run — captured the following year as At Budokan and the commercial breakthrough that took them from Rockford clubs to arena rock fixtures. Tom Werman would go on to produce records by Ted Nugent, Mötley Crüe, and Twisted Sister.
