Carnifex - Graveside Confessions - Red/Black + Yellow/Black Marble Vinyl - 2XLP

Released in September 2021 via Nuclear Blast Records, Graveside Confessions is the eighth studio album from San Diego deathcore pioneers Carnifex. Written during a period of isolation and uncertainty, the album sees the band pushing their signature fusion of blackened atmosphere, crushing breakdowns, and relentless death metal intensity to darker and more emotional extremes. Produced by the band alongside renowned producer Mick Kenney, the record explores themes of grief, depression, trauma, addiction, and personal collapse through a cinematic and brutally heavy soundscape.

Tracks such as 'Pray for Peace,' 'Seven Souls,' and 'Slit Wrist Savior' showcase Carnifex's balance between savage aggression and haunting melody, while guest appearances from Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos and others add further intensity to the album. Praised for its dynamic songwriting, dark atmosphere, and emotionally raw performances, Graveside Confessions reaffirmed Carnifex's status as one of the defining and most enduring acts in modern deathcore.
